Wild Turkey is the genuine, benchmark Bourbon for uncompromising drinkers of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Wild Turkey has been using their traditional recipe since 1855, using only natural processes and NON-GMO grains. Produced at the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky by Master Distiller Jimmy Russell, Wild Turkey Bourbon is known by its signature 101 proof and by its unique unmatched flavor.
Established in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant, Glen Grant is the only single malt which bears the name of its founders. Located in the Speyside town of Rothes, the distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland. James ‘The Major’ Grant was a legendary innovator, explorer, and sportsman. In 1872, he challenged the norms by installing tall, slender pot stills and purifiers to create a lighter, softer whisky or ‘single malt as it should be.’
Russell’s Reserve is a hand-crafted and small batch bourbon and rye whiskey created by Wild Turkey’s legendary master distillers, Jimmy and Eddie Russell. It uniquely reflects the expertise that comes with their over 90 years of combined experience. Russell’s Reserve Bourbon is a beautiful deep amber color with a nose rich in vanilla, oak, and toffee. Its mellow warmth is balanced by notes of white pepper and orange peel.
At Forty Creek, they are not so much bound by tradition as they are inspired by it. Forty Creek whiskies are made with passion and patience to create award winning, crafted whiskies which are complex and intricate - but above all else, smooth and drinkable. Produced in Grimsby, Ontario,it us currently the fastest growing whisky brand in Canada.

IF WOMEN HAVE LEARNED ANY LESSON IN THE PAST 50 YEARS, IT’S THIS: We aren’t easily intimidated. We’ve seized boardrooms and bestseller lists, rocked the vote and rocked out on stage. Yet pull out a bottle of whisk(e)y around us, and the result can feel like a ‘50s time warp. Most of us stick to other drinks, or if we like whisk(e)y, timidly cling to one or two brands rather than risk our cool factor (and our wallets) trying something new. Yet our more astute palates make us ideal candidates for sampling the incredible variety and rich nuances of great whisk(e)y. Time to change the conversation ladies!
Women & Whiskies was created for women at all levels of whiskey connoisseurship. The program was started in 2010 by Campari America after noticing that women were interested in learning more about whisky, but their interests weren’t really being taken seriously. As a result we hosted our first event in New York City with the goal of providing women with knowledge so they are comfortable tasting, talking, and buying a spirit that has been traditionally marketed and advertised to men. The Campari America Fine Whiskies Portfolio includes a diverse collection of whiskies from around the world including Wild Turkey, Russell’s Reserve, Glen Grant, Irish Mist Whiskey, and Forty Creek.

The Fragrance of Whisk(e)y
is a collaboration between the worlds of whisk(e)y and perfume. In our quest for whisk(e)y knowledge we discovered that referencing perfume was a wonderful way to understand and explain whisk(e)y. At a Fragrance of Whisk(e)y event, guests have the opportunity to experience raw materials used in the perfumery process and to identify aromatics in the whiskies they taste. Many don’t have the opportunity to sample these scents in their isolated forms. Without this experience it’s difficult to identify specific aromas. With the help of our team of world acclaimed perfumers and knowledgeable whisk(e)y ambassadors, guests have the opportunity to isolate and identify whisk(e)y aromatics, learn differences in whisk(e)y styles, and ultimately find the type of whisk(e)y they most enjoy.
Perfumers Include: Yosh Han of Yosh, Ineke Ruhland of Ineke, Anne McClain of MCMC, Sanae Barber of Sanae Intoxicants, Josh Meyer of Imaginary Authors, Danielle Sergent of Cognoscenti and Kelly Jones of Kelly and Jones.
Is a spirit distilled from fermented grains, matured in oak barrels to create a variety of flavors and aromas. Depending on the region, whisk(e)y is traditionally made from malted or unmalted barley, corn, rye, and/or wheat. Why the parentheses? Scotch, Canadian, and Japanese whisky are traditionally spelled without the “e,” while American and Irish whiskey include it. We call it “whisk(e)y” in this guide to incorporate all possible spellings.
Whisky that is made in Scotland, and matured for a minimum of three years. The two main types are:
The majority of Scotch produced is blended, made by blending grain whisky and single-malt whiskies from different distilleries of different ages and styles to create a consistent product.
Single-malts are distilled at a single distillery from a mash of 100% malted barley. Because of variances in climate, grains used, production methods, and a variety of other factors, they offer a broad range of flavors, from sweet and fruity to smoky and medicinal.
A distilled spirit made in the United States made from a mash of different cereal grains. Encompasses a wide range of styles, including bourbon, Tennessee, rye, wheat, corn, and blended whiskey.
Whisk(e)y that is served in a glass poured straight from the bottle, with no additions. Some people also prefer to drink whisk(e)y with a few drops of water, to bring out subtle flavors or reduce the strength of particularly alcoholic whiskies.
On The Rocks
Whisk(e)y that is served over ice for a refreshing drink. Big cubes are best, as too much dilution from melting ice can weaken whisk(e)y’s individual flavor. With whisk(e)y you’re sampling for the first time, we recommend tasting it before adding ice, as chilling can cause it to lose some of its flavor.
Whether it’s used in iconic cocktails like the Old-Fashioned, Manhattan, Rob Roy, Mint Julep, or Whiskey Sour, or in new and inventive creations, whisk(e)y is more popular than ever as a cocktail ingredient. Ask your favorite bartender for a recommendation! Or try one of the recipes in this guide to toast the holiday season.
A bottle of whisk(e)y is always a welcome gift, whether your recipient just turned 21 or 101. Using two-ounces, a standard 750 mL whisk(e)y bottle yields around 23 drinks, which means your giftee will remember your thoughtfulness many times over. Here are our favorite whiskies for giving to those closest to you:
For Your Dad
We all know even the toughest dads can get sentimental about their kids, and the story of Russell’s Reserve is a great one: it’s made by legendary master distiller Jimmy Russell and his son Eddie, who have over 90 years of distilling experience between them. Handcrafted in small batches and aged in hand-selected barrels, the Russells’ bourbon and rye are worthy of a great dad.
For Your Best Girlfriend or Sister
Introduce a fellow lady into the cult of whisk(e)y, with Glen Grant 10-year. Located in the Speyside town of Rothes, the distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland. Glen Grant is a pleasant whisky with delicate notes of apple, pear, and orchard fruits. The whisky is lovely neat or in a light summer punch. And when you feel like trading up try Glen Grant 16-year.
For Your Significant Other
Your favorite guy may already be a whisk(e)y fan, but does he mostly just sip it straight? Help him think outside the box with a bottle of Wild Turkey 81 bourbon, which is specifically designed to be enjoyed in cocktails or Wild Turkey Rare Breed an assertive blend of 6, 8, and 12-year-old bourbons. Throw in a couple of recipes and extra ingredients like bitters or sweet vermouth, and he’ll be on his way to mastering mixology without leaving the house.
For Your Guy Friend or Brother
He likes whiskey, but wants to try something new. Look no further than Irish Mist Whiskey, a classic blend of fine Irish whiskies, triple distilled and patiently aged in oak casks for exceptional smoothness. It’s the perfect whiskey for the guy who’s tried everything.
For Your Boss
Looking to make a big impression on a Bourbon fan? The one of a kind Wild Turkey Forgiven is a small batch blend of bold Bourbon and spicy Rye. When staff at the Wild Turkey distillery mistakenly mingled a very rare, high proof Rye with perfectly aged Bourbon, Associate Master Distiller Eddie Russell was understandably angry. Then he gave it a taste, and to his surprise, he discovered they had unwittingly invented something truly unique: 78% Bourbon/22% Rye Blend, bold and spicy, yet exceptionally smooth. Show your boss you have exceptional taste with a bottle of Forgiven.
