Established in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant, Glen Grant is the only single malt which bears the name of its founders. Women & Whiskies was created for women at all levels of whiskey connoisseurship. Wild Turkey Eggnog
- 3 EGGS, SEPARATED
- 2 CUPS LOW FAT MILK
- 1 CUP HEAVY CREAM
- .5 CUP SUGAR
- 6 OZ. WILD TURKEY 101
- .25 TSP. VANILLA EXTRACT
- .25 TSP. CINNAMON
- .5 NUTMEG, FRESHLY GRATED
Beat egg yolks and sugar until light in color. Add bourbon, then milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and mix well. In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to beat egg whites until they peak. Fold the egg whites into the mixture. Serve in cocktail glasses and garnish with nutmeg and cinnamon.

At a Fragrance of Whisk(e)y event, guests have the opportunity to experience raw materials used in the perfumery process and to identify aromatics in the whiskies they taste. Many don’t have the opportunity to sample these scents in their isolated forms. Without this experience it’s difficult to identify specific aromas. With the help of our team of world acclaimed perfumers and knowledgeable whisk(e)y ambassadors, guests have the opportunity to isolate and identify whisk(e)y aromatics, learn differences in whisk(e)y styles, and ultimately find the type of whisk(e)y they most enjoy.

Is a spirit distilled from fermented grains, matured in oak barrels to create a variety of flavors and aromas. Depending on the region, whisk(e)y is traditionally made from malted or unmalted barley, corn, rye, and/or wheat. Why the parentheses? Scotch, Canadian, and Japanese whisky are traditionally spelled without the “e,” while American and Irish whiskey include it. We call it “whisk(e)y” in this guide to incorporate all possible spellings.

The majority of Scotch produced is blended, made by blending grain whisky and single-malt whiskies from different distilleries of different ages and styles to create a consistent product.

Whisk(e)y that is served in a glass poured straight from the bottle, with no additions. Some people also prefer to drink whisk(e)y with a few drops of water, to bring out subtle flavors or reduce the strength of particularly alcoholic whiskies.

Whisk(e)y that is served over ice for a refreshing drink. Big cubes are best, as too much dilution from melting ice can weaken whisk(e)y’s individual flavor. With whisk(e)y you’re sampling for the first time, we recommend tasting it before adding ice, as chilling can cause it to lose some of its flavor.
