Campari Cube Whisky Sour
1 1/2 oz. Forty Creek® Whisky
1/2 oz. simple syrup
¾ oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 Large Campari® Ice Cube
To make Campari Ice Cubes, combine 1/3 cup of Campari and 2/3 cup of water in glass. Mix well, and pour into ice cube molds, and let it freeze over night. This will make 2 large ice cubes, or 6-8 small ones. Double (or triple!) the recipe if needed.
To make the cocktail, combine all ingredients (except for the Campari cube!) in a shaker with ice. Shake for 8-10 seconds, then strain into a rocks glass over the Campari ice cube, and garnish with a lemon wedge. Sip it slowly to see how the cocktail evolves as the Campari cube melts.
