Lavender Whiskey Sour
2 oz. Wild Turkey® Bourbon
3/4 oz. Fresh-Squeezed Lemon Juice
3/4 oz. Lavender Syrup
1 Dash Aromatic Bitters
To make lavender syrup: combine 2 tbsp. of dried lavender flowers with 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a small sauce pan over low heat. Stir, and let it simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat. Strain our the lavender and allow it to cool completely before using.
To make the cocktail, combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake for 8 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a lemon wheel and lavender.
