Perfect Pear Punch
To make spiced pear cider, core & quarter 2 pears (about 2 cups). Place the pears in a small sauce pan with 2 cups of water, and 1 cinnamon stick. Let it simmer over low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasional. Allow it to cool, then strain through cheesecloth to remove solids.
To make the punch, combine pear cider, Wild Turkey, American Honey, lemon juice, and bitters in a pitcher, or punch bowl, with ice. Stir well and allow it to dilute for 30-40 seconds. Prep drinking glasses by dipping the rim into apple cider, then into the cinnamon sugar. Pour the punch into 3-4 glasses, then top with soda water- about 1 oz per glass. Garnish with pear slices.
